I love the blues. It was the first style I got into in a big way. It is also one the easiest styles to get quick results with.
Everyone should know how to play the blues.
However, these days there are many blues styles – not just acoustic or electric, but country blues, rock blues, jazz blues, bluegrass blues, fingerpicking blues, slide/bottleneck blues, etc, etc.
Who is your favourite player? Robert Johnson? Muddy Waters? Johnny Winter? Eric Clapton? SRV? Kenny Burrell?
Beginners, of course, are welcome. Blues is a great way to get started on either acoustic or electric instruments.
