Jazz Guitar

Jazz guitar is a very varied field these days from classic jazz styles to fusion. My own jazz playing experience runs from accompanying jazz singers with walking bass lines, chord extensions, altered runs, etc, to Big Band, Jazz Rock and Jazz Blues styles.

Learn about Modes, Chord Extensions, Walking Bass Lines, Swing Blues and Django Reinhardt styles, etc, etc.

Here is the first of a few videos I made looking at the famous Mickey Baker Jazz Guitar book. The book is a bit dated now, but many of the top jazz players studied it when they were starting out, so there must be something to it.
